Currently Working a Colony on River Rd.

Many people are concerned about the cats on River Rd, so we reached out for permission to trap. There appear to be 12-15 cats in this colony. There are multiple feeders, so they seem to be healthy. We were able to trap 4 and had them fixed Dec 1. There were 3 females and a male- all under 2 years old. Two of the females were lactating, which means there are at least 2 litters of kittens! We saw 2 that may have been 5-6 weeks old, but are now concerned there may be a second, younger litter going into the winter.

Trapping began again in February. We have a rescue on board and hope to at least place kittens into foster homes for future adoption. Watch this site for updates!
